How Much Does an AutoCAD Course Cost?

If you're an interior designer, learning AutoCAD is a great way to advance your career and develop your skill set.

This modern design software will help you improve your process when drawing floor plans. For interior designers, AutoCad allows you to create more precise drawings than the ones you currently may sketch freehand. According to LaunchPad

“AutoCad is a very popular software that is used in almost all architectural and interior design firms, making it a must learn software tool for interior designers.”

The software was developed by an organization called Autodesk. NYIAD's AutoCAD certificate prep course is approved by Autodesk, meaning if you're interested in getting certified through them, our course is approved as a program that will help you prepare for that exam.

How Much Does It Cost to Learn AutoCAD?

At NYIAD, part of our mission is to make education in the art and design fields more accessible to everyone- meaning we strive to make our programs affordable enough to fit in any student’s budget.

At our school, you don’t have to take an entire degree program in order to study exactly what you want to learn. While interior design degree programs at traditional universities include core curriculum like biology and mathematics, NYIAD programs exclusively cover the topic of your choice. At traditional universities, AutoCAD is often studied as part of an Interior Design degree program. According to Career Igniter, the average out-of-state student completing a bachelor's degree in interior design pays $33,000 a year to cover the cost of tuition and fees, books, supplies, room and board.

Our AutoCAD course costs $699 if you pay in full, or $949 if you opt into the monthly payment plan. According to most recent IRS data, the average American receives an annual tax refund of $3,000. That means that the average American could pay for their entire AutoCAD education at NYIAD by spending less than 1/4 of their tax refund check.

For those also interested in studying interior design, our Interior Design course costs $849 if you pay in full, or $1,149 if you opt into the monthly payment plan. (On the monthly plan, you can start at any time with a $59 down payment, then pay as little as $70 per month as you go, unlocking additional course units as you make payments.)
