Design Snack – Experimenting with Wire

By NYIAD Mentor on March 11, 2015

Welcome to another NYIAD Design Snack! In this week’s video, we learn that there is almost nothing you can’t do with a straight piece of wire and some tools.

In order to create unique pieces of jewelry, you mustn’t be afraid of experimentation. Use the wire at your disposal along with a pair of plyers, a hammer, and a steel bench block to discover all the things you can create.

Your own findings will elevate your jewelry to the next level, and make you a more successful jewelry maker.
