Design Snack – Decorating for Spring

By NYIAD Mentor on March 25, 2015

Welcome to another NYIAD Design Snack! In this week’s video, we learn how to accessorize for spring.

You’ve heard of spring cleaning, but have you heard of spring accessorizing? Designers tell us they have accessory wardrobes that they change for the seasons.

In Spring, you can add a bit of lightness and freshness to any interior with a combination of light, bright pillows, fresh, bold plants, and a new coat of paint. Also consider picking up rugs and showing off the bare floor.

As the seasons change, so too should our interiors. It keeps any space feeling current and fresh, and will make its inhabitants happier.
