New York Institute of Art and Design Launches Landscape Design Course
The New York Institute of Art and Design has just launched a brand new online course in Landscape Design. The Complete Course in Landscape Design is the ninth course offered by NYIAD, the leading provider of online education for creative professionals all over the world.
Students who enroll in the New York Institute of Art and Design’s Landscape Design Course will learn the skills that they need to succeed as a professional landscape designer. Starting with the basics of site visits and client meetings, students will get a full view of the process from beginning to end. They will be taught how to select and work with plants, what tools designers use, and how to work with and around existing structures.
The online Landscape Design Course includes a series of design projects that students will complete along the way. These projects will be evaluated by professional landscape designers, who act as the students’ mentors and coaches, helping them to succeed in the field. By the end of the course, graduates will have a portfolio of work that they can use to get started in the field.
“At the New York Institute of Art and Design, we have always been committed to making the highest quality training in the creative arts accessible to all,” said NYIAD Director Jacob Boller. “That’s why we are so proud to be able to offer an online landscape design course that students can take in their free time, from anywhere in the world.”
