NYIAD Launches Certified Home Staging Course
The New York Institute of Art and Design is introducing a brand new online Home Staging Course. The Complete Course in Home Staging is the tenth course offered by NYIAD, the world’s leading provider of online education for creative professionals.
Students who enroll in the New York Institute of Art and Design’s Home Staging Course will learn the skills that they need to succeed as a real estate staging professional. Review all stages of the home staging process, and the important role stagers play in the sales process. Students will watch expertly- prepared video of successful west coast Home Stager, Cindy Lin, as she readies a home for the market. Learn how to disguise the flaws in a space and stress the plusses. Know how to pinpoint a homes’ demographic target and tailor the decoration for maximum appeal. The course takes students from the initial client consultation straight through to the finishing touches.
In addition to the expertly-prepared content of the course, every student enrolled in the online Home Staging Course will gain access to a team of design professionals who will provide support and mentorship throughout the course. Students will complete a series of design projects, which will be evaluated by professional real estate stagers, to prepare them for success in this rapidly expanding field. Graduates of the new program will also be able to join the Designer Society of America, one of the largest professional organizations for interior designers in the world, and qualify for their brand new Certified Home Staging Professional (CHSP) designation.
