NYIAD Announces New Partnership in Saudi Arabia

The NYIAD announced this week that it has signed a new agreement with Creative Routes, a classroom based school in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to teach a residential version of the Complete Course in Interior Design and the Complete Course in Wedding & Event Planning. The deal renews and expands on a long-standing partnership in the region.

The Complete Course in Interior Design is the NYIAD’s signature course. First offered in 1985, the Course has successfully trained interior designers around the world for over 25 years. The Complete Course in Wedding & Event Planning was introduced in 2007, and is designed to train aspiring event planners as they prepare for a new career.

"The NYIAD is a premier home-study school for creative professionals with a large student base in the United States and abroad," said Keith Bernhard, the school’s business developer who helped establish the partnership, "and this partnership is an excellent opportunity to offer that same quality education to the people of Saudi Arabia."

The courses will be taught in English by Creative Routes in a residential classroom setting. The NYIAD ensures the high-quality of lesson materials provided to Creative Routes. Both courses will be launching in 2013.
