Welcome to another NYIAD Design Snack! In this week’s video, we learn that lighting is the key to beauty.
“Where there is no light, there is no beauty.” – Billy Baldwin
Interior designers need to know how to use proper lighting in the design and décor of every room. Each room is different, and requires a different amount of light. For example, 60 watts might set the right mood in the dining room, but 75 watts provides the right amount of light for reading in the living room.
Knowing how to use lighting to set the mood in each room is an important part of the interior design landscape.
