About Renate Bell

Renate M Bell grew up in Highland Lake, a small town in the Catskill Mountains of New York, where at a young age she began waitressing at her parent's summer resort, Pine Hill Lodge. She holds a degree in Interior and Architectural Design from Cazenovia College, Cazenovia, New York and has worked as an estimator and detailer in the commercial building industry since graduating in 1986.

While studying numerous Eastern teachings over the years including meditation, yoga, and Vedic Astrology, Renate developed a curiosity for Feng Shui and soon recognized it as the perfect source of wisdom that could naturally blend her interests in consciousness studies and interior design and decorating.

"Enrolling in the Sheffield School of Interior Design's Feng Shui Interior Design course", Renate says, "has been a wonderful opportunity and an incredible creative boost in teaching me how to merge my favorite things — meditation and interior design — into a cohesive, practical, and beneficial skill. Feng Shui brings it all home. I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge with clients. But first, I have to finish my last assignment. The course has been so much fun. I wish it wasn't ending!" Renate currently resides near Charleston, South Carolina.
