I was originally hired as a sub-contractor to just remodel clients kitchen cabinetry but was later hired to design 60% of her residents. The upscale residents is located in Southampton, NY less then 1/4 mile from the beach. My client was having a tough time creating her beach inspired vacation home which I was more then excited about designing (especially because it was my first whole house design). From 3 1/2" pickled oak flooring to mimic the fresh white sand, to the oceanic blue backsplash tile to mimic the shimmering blue sea, every aspect of this house I wanted to feel like a fresh bright day at the beach.
