How Much Does It Cost to Learn Frontend Development?

If you’re looking to start a career in technology, or build on your experience, a course in frontend development can help you reach your goals. A Frontend Development course will help you learn to build and design websites for a variety of fields.

Frontend developers are a special type of computer programmer. They create the visual elements of websites and software applications. They create the visual elements we see on our screens each time we visit a website or use specific software. They are responsible for making sure what any site visitor sees is free from errors and looks the same regardless of whether you’re using a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Some design elements they’re responsible for include images, navigation, and layout.

How can I learn Frontend Development?

The Frontend Development course with the New York School of Art and Design will teach you the three core languages of frontend development: HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

  1. HTML: In this first unit, you’ll study what makes websites work and how as a frontend developer you’ll create them.
  2. CSS: You’ll learn how CSS works with HTML and how it can further enhance the design and style of websites.
  3. JavaScript: In the final unit, you’ll learn to add functionality to a web page with JavaScript. You’ll also cover adding more complex, interactive effects like interactive animated graphics and scrolling video.

During the course, you’ll practice these essential coding skills for maintaining websites while building a portfolio of coding projects.
